Denise completed a BSc ( Hons) in Biology and Sports Science at St. Mary’s College, Twickenham before working in human physiology and going on to study physiotherapy at The West London Institute of Higher Education, graduating in 1990.
For nearly three years, Denise worked for the NHS in Ipswich and Norwich and spent a season working with a small group of therapists for a local rugby club which was great fun and a steep learning curve! A move to Michigan, USA, resulted in four years of working within a different healthcare system and working closely with American therapists and Athletic trainers. Since returning to North Norfolk and the NHS in 1999, Denise has worked and continues to work in musculoskeletal outpatients, treating people with a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions. During this period, some time has been spent working for the British Legion and also working in women’s health, developing a keen interest in pre- and post-natal pelvic girdle pain.
Denise is offering Friday morning and Wednesday evening clinics.
