Angela has spent two years training as an Aromatherapist with Neal’s Yard Remedies in Covent Garden.
This is a new direction for her 15-year career in healthcare with the NHS, first as a nurse and then for the last 10 years, as
a nurse practitioner in primary care and GP surgeries. She has chosen to focus her knowledge of health and expertise in
illness and the therapeutic relationship in a more holistic manner, which works alongside and supports traditional
Aromatherapy is primarily delivered through massage, using essential oils derived from plants. These oils have a range of
specific therapeutic properties and can be blended to meet individual needs at the time of treatment. Aromatherapy,
underpinned by her nursing experience, provides Angela with the unique opportunity to deliver holistic care that truly
reflects her own perspective on maintaining health and wellbeing. Angela strongly believes in supporting health in as
many ways as possible, accessing both complimentary and conventional treatments to support wellbeing, which is why
she has chosen to join the multi-disciplinary team at North Norfolk Physio in providing holistic healthcare services.
Angela is fully insured as a practitioner through Balens Ltd and is a member of the governing body for aromatherapists,
IFPA (International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists).

Julie Sharman - Reflexologist
Julie trained as a reflexologist in 2000 at the Pathways School of Reflexology in Norwich. Since qualifying Julie has continued to practice in Norfolk and is pleased to be joining the Wellbeing team at North Norfolk Physiotherapy. Julie has always been keen to add to her knowledge by attending many courses and lectures in the reflexology field and is a member of the Association of Reflexology (AoR). The aim of relexology is to help the body restore its balance naturally and can be beneficial in the treatment of stress, anxiety, migraine, digestive and hormonal disorders. Most people find the treatment leaves them feeling relaxed with a sense of wellbeing.
